telling of a story is a matter of perspective not specifically correct or incorrect
I appreciate your comments. You comments are written in a way to express your perspective. There are many answers on Quora that are about sharing perspectives. Many times I share my personal perspectives in my answer. The answer itself is not specifically correct or incorrect, it is a telling of a story, from my world, from my point of view.
When I am expressing my perspective, and someone tells me that is wrong, that is not a matter of being sensative, or having a thin skin. It is a matter of the person making the comments not understanding the perspective of the question, as well as the answer.
So, why care about comments related to the lyrics you posted? Because they have nothing to do with my perspective, they are totally irrelavant to my answer. If I tell you a story of the first time I heard a song, and what feeling I felt, comments that song was actually a cover of a song done by another groups years earlier is totally irrelavant to my story and my feelings. I see comments that have no bearing on the question or the answer as simply noise. As a user of these services I have the ability to eliminate the noise as I see fit.
You have the ability to read my answers, and read my comments, and you can make the choice to follow me, or to block me, as you see fit. But yes, you are correct, no one can change my answer. What I see through my eyes, the experinces I share from my world, remain the same.
In a world full of negativity, you need to surround yourself, and associate with people who inspire you, and help you think positive thoughts. When someone on social media, be it Quora or Facebook, spouts endless negativity, I have the ability to block them, or mute them. It is a choice I can make. It that a form of censorship? Yes, absolutely. But it is my privledge as a user of these services to block or ignore someone as I see fit.
